Winter League
Review of the additional fixtures played in Divisions 1 & 2 on Monday

Division 1
There were three 8-0 scorelines in the four Division 1 fixtures played on Monday and that included the meeting of the top two teams, Thorpe Green and Lower Hopton. The honours went to Thorpe Green who overwhelmed their nearest rivala and now have a 12 points lead at the top of the table. However that lead is not over Lower Hopton who lost second place as a result of going down to the leaders.
Lindley BC A moved into 2nd place after beating Meltham with another whitewash display which sees the losers stuck in the second relegation place. They remain 8 points behind Kirkheaton Con A who also lost 0-8 with the New Mill team coming out the victors. Cowcliffe A continue to perform well at this level and a 6-2 win over Lindley Lib A makes them level with Lower Hopton and two points behind 2nd placed Lindley BC A.
Division 2
Match of the Day in Division 2 was between the two teams holding down 2nd and 3rd places as Golcar Lib took on Marsh United. Second-placed Golcar Lib coming out on top 6-2 but those two dropped points mean that is now the difference between the top two teams as Hanging Heaton A beat Lindley BC A 8-0.
Lindley Lib A won for the first time this season and it was in emphatic style as they beat Lowerhouses 8-0. That raises their hopes of a late season revival and they are now 10 points behind third from bottom Milnsbridge A. They leapfrogged Lindley BC B but with teams still having 5 matches to play there is plenty to play for. Clayton West continue to move away from the nether regions of the table and a 6-2 win over Milnsbridge A made it 4 wins from their last 5 fixtures.
