R.I.P. Walter Pell

Rest in Peace

Walter Pell aged 92 recently died after a short illness. He was a long-standing member of Lindley BC and Marsh United. His funeral will be held at 2pm on Friday 8th August at St. Phillip’s Church, Birchencliffe and followed at 3pm at the Parkwood Crematorium, Elland. Anyone who knew Walter is invited to attend.

Walter is pictured above last year receiving his 90th Certificate awarded to bowlers still actively playing in the Veterans League upon reaching their 90th birthday. This was awarded last year when the President, Frank Greenwood, made the presentation.
