Greenhead Park have lost a valued club member with the passing yesterday of Vincent Seatal, aged 94.

Richard Pearcey announced his passing to fellow club members with this sad message:

It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that our dear friend and valued club member, Vincent Seatal, passed away this afternoon after a short illness, aged 94 years.

Vincent last played for the club right through the 2025 10-Man Veterans League season, when he played sixteen Division 5 matches and finished 2nd in the team averages after winning 9 of those 16 matches. I wonder how many more bowlers will still be playing competitive matches at the ripe old age of 94.
