R.I.P. Kevin Stringer

Rest in Peace

Kirkheaton Con bowler Kevin Stringer passed away overnight which is a huge and totally unexpected shock to anyone who knew him.

Kevin was a keen bowler and had only joined the ranks of the Veterans League in the last five years which was a milestone that he had been looking forward to.

Kevin was a one-club man and was very active in many of the Kirkheaton Cons teams and was selected to play for the Veterans A team today. That match at Cowcliffe has been called off as a mark of respect and because many of his teammates are too shocked to think of bowling today.

We are grateful to the League and Cowcliffe for their understanding and support at this sad time.
