Sorry to have to report that Peter Preston has passed away recently. Peters funeral was on Friday but due to restrictions close family only attended.
Peter was a member of Milnsbridge Bowling Club but has bowled for many clubs over the years. A left-hander and a one-off character was Peter. He once asked for a measure after his opponent had given him two chalks!
He often took over 90 minutes to play a game but was a gentleman to all and a good friend to me.
