Sorry to report of the loss of Peter Paxman (aged 80) a very prominent bowler of his era. I have only known Peter over the last seven years as a team-mate at Kirkheaton Con but I understand that he was one of those bowlers that operated at the very highest level locally.
Peter played a full part in the Kirkheaton Con 'B' team Section 5 Championship success of last season as well as being an important member of the club's 'A' team that won the Section 2 title in 2013.
He always took his bowling very seriously and was a much-revered bowler within his club.
