Pairs KO reaches 70 entries

Winter League

We now have 70 entries (140 bowlers) for the 2025-26 Pairs KO competition. We already have 6 pairs that have qualified for the Round of the Last 20 and they are listed further down this posting. The listing below shows the number of entrants for each of the 10 Divisions in the Winter League.

Each Division has its own qualifying competition, which will result in the top two pairs qualifying for the next stage of the competition, the Round of the Last 20. That Round will be played at Thorpe Green on Friday 20 February which will produce the last eight contenders who will progress through to Finals Day to be played on Friday 27 February.

The next action comes from the Division 4 Qualifying Round which will be played at Thorpe Green from 11.00am on Friday 2 January. Entries will be accepted up until 5.00pm on New Year's Eve.

Next up it is the turn of the Division 4 pairs who play their qualifying round again at Thorpe Green and that will be staged on Friday 2 January. There are 11 entries already in the frame and more can enter before the New Years Eve deadline. The Online Entry Form is below along with all the dates you need to know.

ONLINE ENTRY FORM

The closing date for Online Division 4 entries is 3.00pm on New Year's Eve with the Qualifying Round being played at Thorpe Green on Friday 2 January starting at 11.00am. Bowling down to the last two pairs who will progress through to the Rounds of the Last 20 and the Last 16 on Friday 20 February. Then Finals Day is Friday 27 February.

The Pairs KO was only contested for the first time last year when pairs from Divisions 2 and 3 progressed to the Final. The handicapping system kicks in from the Round of the Last 20 so giving bowlers of all abilities a chance of progressing.

You can enter now for any of the seven remaining Divisions Qualifying Rounds listed above. Check you and your playing partners' availability for the qualifying, Last 20 and Finals Day rounds before completing your entry.

You can complete your entry by submitting your entry fees by BACS payment.

The entry fee is £3 per bowler (£6 per pair).
