NTL World email users alert

If you have an NTL World or VirginMedia email account, you may or may not be aware that the owners, Virgin Media, are closing down all the Virgin and NTL World email accounts. You may care to read this statement from Virgin Media about the process being adopted to kill off or transfer such email accounts sometime soon.

The reason I am mentioning this here is that there are 33 NTL or Virgin email addresses in the HuddWeb notification list of 300+ that we use to forward email alerts about new postings on the HuddWeb website. There has been an ongoing deterioration of this service over recent months which has now reached the stage where 17 of these 33 accounts are no longer receiving our emails at all. They bounce back. So apologies for that as Virgin Media are stopping emails reaching these recipients.

Virgin are offering alternative arrangements for their customers and they are in the process of getting all their customers a new email address and service or closing them down altogether. This is all covered in the Virgin statement mentioned above.

If you have stopped receiving our email notifications and you would like to future-proof these emails then get in touch and provide us with an alternative email address so that we can resume the service we offer you.
