After the dust settled and the results had all been input the Division 1 table showed no changes in the running order of all 12 teams. There is every chance of that happening again this week with the top two teams being undisturbed as they both have home fixtures against teams they will expect to beat. The leaders, Lowerhouses, have a 9-point lead so the chances of them being overtaken after a home match against Lindley Lib A are very remote. Second-placed Longwood could lose heavily but with a 13-point buffer, cannot be caught this week regardless of the result of their match versus Cowcliffe.

At the foot of the table, Waterloo have to travel to play Marsh United A who are the team they need to pass in the table if they are to dream of staving off relegation. However, as they are 16 points behind their rivals, that change cannot happen this week. To repeat, there is every chance of the running order remaining intact after this week's fixture programme.

Milnsbridge A beat Elland WMC 5-4 when the two teams met earlier in the season and the table-toppers would really like to avenge that outcome when they have home advantage over them this week. Their prime title rivals are Elland C&BC who are away at lowly Netherton Con A this Tuesday.
