Ladies Works League:
We are delighted to welcome a new team to our League, personaliseHR, playing at Springwood on Thursday nights. What a treat to have a new team playing on Springwood, a green that is relatively unknown for most of us.
The Springwood green has been used in the past for our League but only for a brief period. Amanda Gray is the Captain who will be leading the team in the forthcoming season of which we remain steadfastly hopeful.

Amanda informs us that most of the team have been playing together for around 6 years at Lindley BC but have decamped for this League to Springwood due to availability of the green. The team name "personaliseHR" is a local employment advisory service. They provide a range of employment advice services mainly to voluntary organisations and private individuals.
So what might we expect from the new team? They will be playing in division 2, they will have a pretty good green advantage over most teams if they master their green quickly, they are obviously keen, and somewhat of an unknown quantity to most of us. All of that adds up to a potential threat to all those in section 2. Unknown teams can always spring surprises. It will be interesting to see the early team and individual results to see where this team might end up in their first season.
One thing is certain there will be plenty of enjoyment and entertainment along the way for the personaliseHR team and for visiting teams alike. We hear that the Springwood green is in excellent nick and we can’t wait to play there and meet you all.
