The BCGBA is supporting this new funding opening for crown green bowling clubs. The Fore is a funding source that supports sports clubs that are financially almost on their last legs. It does not support new expensive schemes or single projects.

Is your club ready to grow, modernise, or reach new members?

The Fore is offering unrestricted grants to help small community organisations – like bowling clubs – make a step change in their development.

What’s on offer:

Unrestricted grants (you decide how best to use it)

Support to strengthen your club, not just fund a one-off project

Open to UK charities, CICs and Community Benefit Societies with turnover under £500,000

Perfect if your club wants to:

Improve facilities or equipment

Attract new members or volunteers

Build long-term sustainability

Launch a new community programme

They’re NOT looking for:

Big capital projects where their grant is a small contribution

Short-term fixes without long-term impact
