Two rounds of Monday fixtures now played by Division 4 teams at Primrose Hill Lib and no team has still got a 100% win record. That indicates a tight season ahead with no obvious leader, a point further emphasised by the top three teams only being separated by one point. This week it is the turn of Huddersfield Recreation Club to take over the top spot after an emphatic 8-0 win over Linthwaite Hall.

Netherton Con A and Brockholes A retain their top three places after playing out a 4-4 draw and they weren't the only drawn match of the day. Lindley Lib C and Milnsbridge B also drew their match which means that the Milnsbrdige team are still waiting for their first win of the season as are Elland WMC who went down 2-6 to the hosts of Primrose Hill Lib who collected their first win of the season. That sees the Primrose Hill Lib team on the same Won-1 Lost-1 record as the leaders but sat four places below them in the table. It is all very tight so lots to look forward to over the coming weeks as teams establish their bids for honours.
