Name the Roller's Green No.3

Memories

This is a variation on our Name The Green competition and this is a Christmas week special. It has always struck me how many rollers there are abandoned around various club greens never to be used again but too big to disposed of. So they adorn the fringes of our green and memories as we come across them most weeks but fail to register which green they can be associated with.

Often they are tucked away between two sheds or hidden in the long grass but usually they are propped up against a boundary wall. Wherever they are they are not easily associated with any one particular green. How are your powers of observation?

Just for Christmas week I have seven old rollers, one a day, in various states of decay but usually well abandoned to challenge you to name the green where these rollers are seeing out their days. The answers to all seven will not be revealed until New Years Day.

Today we have a massive roller which is impossible to ignore as you walk around this green. The distinctive background should also be a good clue to the location. But can you remember where it is?

Did you miss our earlier challenges this week? Well the previous challenges are below for you to view and tell us where you think they are. Make sure you include the Name the Roller's Green Number when submitting your best guesses.

Send your best guesses to me at jefftheref2000@yahoo.co.uk for a name check on all those who correctly identify where this piece of one key green maintenance tool now resides. I will let you know if you are correct or not by email. No prizes, just for fun. All the answers will be online on New Years Day so submit your best guesses before then.

Please don't leave your answer anywhere else as this can spoil the fun for later visitors.
