The latest table of the new Top Team Trio competition shows that Mirfield continue to lead the way and their approach of fully embracing the competition by swelling the number of entries is paying off. They are the team with most entries, 12, and that has worked for them so far.
However Meltham have only half that number of entries, 6, and sit just 8 points behind the leaders with a game in hand which could be worth that 8 points difference.
Lindley BC have even less bowlers entered, 4, but are very much within range of the leaders as are some of the teams that have only played 10 games so far as compared to the leaders 12. The number of games played will even itself out over the season with everyone playing the same number by the last day of the season.
How the competition works The top 3 individual scores from the Fantasy League competition for each team are in direct competition with all the other teams. Only the best 3 individual scores for each club are counted.
There is a Prize Fund of £100 to be divided between the top three teams at the end of the season and this competition runs in parallel with the individual competition right through the season with weekly updates on HuddWeb.
