Winter League
In line with the other Winter League host clubs, Milnsbridge have published their plans for matchdays for the Division 5 teams. That all kicks off this week with the first run of fixtures starting at 11.00am on Wednesday. All eight teams playing at Milnsbridge each week are making their debuts on the Milnsbridge green in the Winter League after Divisions 1 and 5 swapped host clubs for the new season.
Milnsbridge welcomes all the Division 5 teams to Milnsbridge Bowling Club for the Winter League starting on Wednesday 4th November at 11.00am. Our address is Bowling Street, Cowlersley, HD4 5TF. We have a car park for about 10 cars; there are nearby streets to park but please do not park on both sides of bowling street as it makes it difficult for emergency vehicles to get through. The bar will be open during matches and afterwards if you fancy something stronger than tea or coffee.
There will be a board with matchday sheets to record match results. Players will be provided with tea or coffee & biscuit tokens with their club’s name on plus a raffle ticket as part of their match fee.
There will be a raffle each week with 2 prizes normally consisting of a bottle of wine, box of chocolates or box of biscuits. Raffle tickets will £1 per ticket or 3 for £2.00
Food available to purchase:
Cold Sandwiches of Ham £2.50, Beef £2.50 or Cheese £2.00 will be available each week in addition to one of the items below which will be on rotation.

Chilli & Chips £3.50 Chip Butty £2.00
Stew with Bread £3.50
Sausage Butty £3.00 Bacon Butty £3.00
Hot drinks are £1.00 the choices are: (Tea, Coffee, we also have Decaffeinated) Oxo, Hot Chocolate, Cuppa Soup.
