I am very grateful to Jim Baxter for sending me two photographs from the Milnsbridge archives stretching back 71 years to 1952. Enjoy the smart presentation of these cup-winning teams.
Both photos are of Milnsbridge teams from the same season with the top one being the club's Subscription Cup winning team and the bottom one being the Binns Cup winning side.
It is probably a forlorn hope to ask anyone to name any of these bowlers so no names challenge today especially as I don't have the answers but if anyone would like to add anything about these teams then I would be happy to add them to this posting.

MILNSBRIDGE BC 1952 BINNS CUP WINNERS
I haven't found out much of the Subscrption Cup other than it was a thriller & played at Lindley Lib in July 1952 as a knockout game versus Huddersfield C & AC. Milnsbridge were winning by 32 after 8 matches but down after 11 matches, Milnsbridge trailed by 6. A 21-13 win by Stanley Garthwaite secured a 2 point win.
Also 1952 Binns Cup winners were not Milnsbridge but Cowcliffe
