Memories
Catching up on some history of local bowling greens and came across this one next to Clough Head Baptist Church on Meeting House Lane at Golcar. The map below has imposed the green on the location as covered in the 1932 O.S. Map further down. Anyone know any history of this green? When it opened and when it closed? Who played there? Get in touch.
