Ladies Works League
It is with great sorrow that we report the recent passing on 2nd November of Marie Beaumont (aged 66) at her Honley home after a short illness. Marie was a genuine bowls enthusiast playing in the Works League for the Strait Kutz team at Linthwaite Hall, the Ladies League at Thongsbridge and several other local clubs and leagues. We have lost a unique character who will be sadly missed. A family funeral service is to be held today (16 November).
Our best wishes and sincere condolences are sent to her husband Keith and family.
