Marsh Lib A arrived at Brockholes for the Bistro Final with great hopes and a 30-point handicap start over the Division 1 leaders, Lowerhouses. They left with nothing after being overwhelmed by a Lowerhouses team still smarting from a first home defeat of the season on Tuesday. The Marsh Lib team were unfortunate to be standing in their way as the Lowerhouses team won all 5 pairs games, 4 of them to single figure responses and a maximum total of 105 aggregate points. That was a first Bistro Shield trophy win for the Division 1 team. The Marsh team will be a better team for the experience but the day was all about a rampant Lowerhouses team.
