Last call for Winter League host green

We have a waiting list of five teams itching to join the Winter League for the 2026-27 season. Only one thing is stopping us from canvassing for three more teams to join them and make up a new 8-team Division 11, and that is that we don't have a host green for them to play on.

There have been a number of enquiries from teams who played in the recently closed down Heckmondwike-based Winter competition last season. I don't anticipate a real problem in getting three more teams in the event of a new host green stepping forward to support the introduction of a new Division 11. We just need a green to play on for one-day a week for 14-weeks. The rewards are great including a guaranteed £3,500 cash income.
