Dipping back in time once again and going back 36 years to the Huddersfield Merit Final played in July 1986. I am grateful to Bob Swan for keeping this record and sharing it with us. This cutting from Peter Muff's article in The Examiner is a great read with good recollections of Frank Wrathall taking on Graham Sigsworth in the Final. Good mention also of a 22-years-old Ashley Daykin trying to emulate his father, John, who lifted the title 10 years earlier, before falling at the semi-final stage.
