Winter League
The question I have been asked most in the lead-up to the start of the new Winter League bowling season is 'What time do matches start?' No matter how many times I post it on the website or answer email queries I can guarantee that there will always be another person waiting to ask me the same question. Well, the answer is 12NOON every week, all season. Asking is no problem, I would rather you ask than turn up late and delay your match starting.
Lower Hopton have a bye
All Division 1 team captains should now have received their Username and Password for the Bowlsnet system so that they can input match results after each match. If you haven't received yours then contact the League Secretary. It is the responsibility of the first named team (the 'home' team) to submit the match results. Then the 'away team captain should VERIFY the result. If there are any errors in the result then they have to contact the League Secretay to get it corrected.
Only Division 1 captains have been allocated passwords up to now. Division 2 and 3 captains will be receiving theirs nearer to their season start dates. This level of access allows captains to do one other thing besides submitting match results. They can add up to 3 contacts to their team contact details by clicking on the INFO button from the top menu. You have to be logged in to get this level of access. This information is used for contacting teams on match days if the host club is postponing matches for any reason. This stops teams from unnecessarily traveling so well worthwhile keeping this information up to date.
Just a reminder of the different start dates for each of our 3 divisions and just to repeat that the start time for all matches in all divisions all season is 12NOON.
Division 1 starts on Wednesday 6 October at Milnsbridge.
Division 2 starts on Wednesday 20 October at Springwood.
Division 3 starts on Monday 11 October at Thorpe Green.
