Preview of the 10-Man League Divisions 1&2 fixtures for Tuesday 16 September

The destination of the 2025 Division 1 title is unlikely to be finalised this week with two teams very much in the frame as they have been all season. Long time leaders Lowerhouses have to go to play Kirkheaton Con A where they have lost for the last two years. Longwood are the only threat to the leaders and they have to travel to play third in the table, Clayton West, where they lost 3-6 last season.

The team to accompany Waterloo into Division 2 for next season could be resolved this week as the two prime contenders play each other at Meltham where the home team have to win against Marsh United A to survive for another week.

A home win for Elland C&BC against Shepley this Tuesday will almost certainly clinch the second Division 2 promotion place for them. Elland WMC are clear at the top and they are the Champions and will complete their home fixture programme when entertaining Netherton Con A who remain in danger of being relegated.

New Mill A are the only bottom four team with a home match this week and they really need a win to give them a chance of surviving. Next week they will be the only bottom four team with an away game which will seriously undermine any hopes of saving their Division 2 status. Golcar Lib B could be the first team to be relegated if they don't win at Broad Oak A on Tuesday.
