Winter League
The Division 8 fixture programme was completed on Tuesday with Golcar C&BC celebrating the presentation of the League trophy with a resounding 8-0 win over Cowcliffe C. Leading the table right from day one of the season and suffering only two defeats over the 14-week season. They eventually won the title with a 19-point lead over second-placed Holmfirth.
A last day defeat for the Holmfirth team going down 2-6 to bottom-of-the-table Kirkheaton C&BC B didn't do their promotion chase any damage as they already had enough points in the bag to secure the 2nd promotion place. The bottom two teams, Lockwood Con C and Kirkheaton C&BC B both had good final day 6-2 wins but still finished in the basement of the final table.
