The magnificent Gambart Baines Trophy has been won by a number of Huddersfield bowlers over its long history. Among them being local legend the late Roger Crowther whose wife, Wendy, continues to sponsor the junior version of the competition played on the same day.
The competition format was changed post-Covid from its previous summer-long weekly qualifiers to an August Bank Holiday One-Day Event played on three greens. The 2024 competitions are now open for entry with all the details below.
