The national governing bodies covering all forms of bowling including crown green have come together to produce a week of learning aimed at bowling clubs and individuals, A range of free learning sessions are programmed for this week commencing today, Monday 23 March. These sessions cover subjects such as how to promote your club to the local community, how to attract new bowlers, new coaches and what coaching sessions should look like not just on coaching new people but also how a coaching structure can raise standards of play at every level in your club, giving your members a competitive edge!
The Week of Learning Programme offers free webinars and face to face sessions to members of any club affiliated to Bowls England, the English Indoor Bowling Association, the English Short Mat Bowling Association or the British Crown Green Bowling Association. If your club pays the annual fee to Yorkshire CCGBA and the BCGBA then your club is a member. If your club plays in any local league then they are a member so you are entitled to take advantage of this offer,

Registration for each session will be open up until the morning of the session. You can learn more about each of the sessions open to you and you can register for your free space by visiting the Bowling Developement Alliance website. Once registered, you will receive an email with the session link and further information.
