Four unbeaten Division 2 records on the line

Winter League

A preview of the Division 2 fixtures for Wednesday 3 November

Four teams have unbeaten records in Division 2 and two of those teams meet this week as leaders Meltham take on Lindley Lib. Meltham have started their season with two 8-0 wins as they look a stronger outfit than last year and they meet a Lindley Lib side that has won one and drawn one of their opening two fixtures. Whereas Meltham are in their second season in the League, this is a new experience for Lindley Lib and they will certainly be testing their potential this Wednesday.

Jackson Bridge also has a won one drawn one record in their first season in the League and they will be looking to extend that against a Thorpe Green 'B' team still looking for their first win of the season. Springwood 'A' has a 100% win record and that will tested against a much-changed Denby Dale team this week.

The fourth fixture this Wednesday sets two new teams against each other looking for their first wins as Almondbury BC meet Paddock I&C and they will both be looking to move out of the lower regions of the table by picking up a few points from each other. All the action starts at 12noon at Springwood with all 4 matches running alongside each other and spectators are very welcome.
