Fantasy League shuffle

Well Bowled Fantasy League

The 2nd table of the 2024 Fantasy League season is now available and with 84 entries it is not a surprise to learn that we have a new leader this week. Ian Wright stands aside, drops to 6th place and Netherton Con bowler, Paul Rangeley, takes over at the top.

There is just a shuffle in the running order with only one new entry into the top ten. That is Charlie Bartaby who moves to 6th from 12th position last week displacing Alan Starkey who drops to 14th place. We can expect lots more changes as the season settles down before the destination of the £160 Prize Fund can be determined. On Wednesday we are expecting to open the first Transfer Window of the new season. As soon as all this week's results have been entered into the Bowlsnet pages for both leagues then the Transfer Market will be open for business. A guidance as to what that entails is below.

You may care to remind yourself of your 8 team selections in preparation for entering the Market and the opportunity to swap out any of your underperforming teams. At the bottom of this page is a link to download the file of all 84 entrant's selections.

How the Fantasy League works: Entrants pick a team in each of the 8 Divisions in the Veterans 10-man and 6-man leagues. Every point their 8 selections win goes towards the individual's total. Most points at the end of the season wins the prizes.

Entrants are allowed 3 transfers over the course of the season. There are transfer days at the end of each calendar month when punters can swap an underperforming team out and replace with a different team from the same division. They can swap as many as they like out in any month but they only have a total of 3 transfers that can be used during the season.

A season-long competition with a £100 Well Bowled Sales Voucher to the end-of-season winner. Then there is £40 for the runner-up and £20 for third place.
