Every one is a winner at End-of-Season Party

The first of our two End-of-Season Parties & Presentation Events was held at Netherton Cons last Thursday when almost 100 party-lovers gathered to enjoy the celebration of teams from Divisions 6 to 10. The presentations were made by the Winter League Chairman, Richard Long and Geoff Dyson the Netherton Con greenkeeper and much than that for Winter League bowlers.

Dave Ashworth receives the Netherton Con Cup on behalf of his team, Cowcliffe B, for being the 2025-26 Division 6 Champions

Cowcliffe B bowler Alan Brown made it a team double for Cowcliffe B when winning the Division 6 Top Bowler award and being presented with the Netherton Greenkeeper's Cup

Joanna Birch the RUFC team captain receives the Tedbar Tinker Trophy on behalf of her team as the winners of the Division 7 title

John Sunter of Huddersfield Recreation Club B receives the Charlie Jude Cup as the Division 7 Top Bowler for 2025-26

Hemplow won the Division 8 Champions title and Tony Yates was presented with the Best of the Rest Cup in recognition of that achievement

Sue Powell of Kirkheaton C&BC C team collects the new Division 9 Champions trophy of the Chairman's Cup

The Division 9 Top Bowler Trophy went to Tony Dawson and he is seen here collecting the new Rachel & Sally Swinden Cup in recognition of that achievement.

The Division 10 Champions were Rastrick and team captain John Wood collected the Founders Shield on behalf of his team

Bob Laycock was the Division 10 Top Bowler claiming the title on the last day of the season and was presented with the new Gordon Walker Cup
