Does your bowling club have any trustees? Yorkshire CCGBA is making available new guidance to bowling clubs that have trustees. It seems that the HMRC is taking an interest in the money laundering possibilities of many organisations including sports clubs. A special interest in the role of club trustees has surfaced and a new requirement for all trustees to register with a new national body, the Trustee Registration Service, has become law with financial penalties for non-compliance.
