Division 10 Winter Cup qualifier

Winter League

Most of the new teams to the League ended up in Division 10 and we had a good year-one response from them to enter the Winter Cup individual competition. There were 18 entrants and they met at Netherton Con on Monday with four qualifying places at stake.

Brockholes and Skel Windmill were very well represented in the 18 and there were three Skel entrants in the final four, so well done them for supporting this new-to-you competition and doing so well. All the results are below.

The next stage is the Round of the Last 28 which will be held at Huddersfield RUFC on Sunday 29 March from 11.00am. That 28 will be whittled down to the eight Quarter-Finalists who will meet after the Easter break on Sunday 12 April again at Huddersfield RUFC for Finals Day. The BCGBA dress code will apply for Finals Day and that means black trousers and collared shirts for all bowlers.
