Review of the results in the 10-Man League Divisions 1&2 played on Tuesday 29 July

Big away wins for the top two Division 1 teams, Lowerhouses and Longwood, see them widen the gaps to the chasing pack. Those results, Lowerhouses winning 8-1 at Marsh United and Longwood's 7-2 victory at Meltham A, enable Lowerhouses to inch further away from Longwood and that gap is now 6 points. With third-placed Cowcliffe going down 2-7 at Clayton West who have overtaken their opponents but the gap to the top two now stands at 10-points.
Kirkheaton Con A swapped places with Golcar Lib after completing a League double over them on home soil on Tuesday, a fourth consecutive win. The bottom three teams all lost this week so no change in the running order.

The two Elland team continue to lead the way at the top of the Division 2 table and both now have identical Won-11 Lost-3 season-long records and they both have the same 'Aggregate For' total of 1799 points. With a 13-points lead over third-placed Broad Oak A things look increasingly comfortable for the two Elland teams but which one of them is going to lift the title.
Netherton Con A were the only winners from the bottom half of the table with a 7-2 home win over Lindley BC A pushing them up a place to 9th position. New Mill A and Denby Dale now share the 2nd relegation place, both on 52 points. Golcar Lib B are 10-points adrift and have lost their last 6 matches and are in desperate trouble after losing 2-7 at home to Shepley.
