Kirkheaton Cons
A new KO competition for Kirkheaton Cons was played out on Sunday for the first time. The Veterans Vase is aimed at the Over-60s with a great new cut glass engraved perpetual trophy vase for the winner
There were 18 entries of mixed gender with two very welcome representatives from Kirkheaton Cricket & Bowling Club.
Adrian 'Crafty' Cooper (photo left) ran out the winner beating Martin Laycock 21-9 in the Final after 6 hours of bowling in glorious sunshine. The full breakdown of the results of the handicap competition is below.
