Division 1 leaders Clayton West A will be looking to bounce back from last week's surprise defeat at Milnsbridge A but will have it all on when they host the in-form Slaithwaite team. They have won 4 of their last 5 matches but Clayton West have won all of their home fixtures this season and will expect to do the same again this week. Second-placed Marsh United also have a home fixture when Skel Windmill A come to play.

Third-placed Waterloo are 6 points behind Marsh United A with a match in hand and go to play relegation-threatened Brockholes A this Monday. This is the first of two home games on the trot for the Badgers with the second one next week against lowly Netherton Con A. They really need to pick up the majority of the points if they have any hope of avoiding an immediate return to Division 2.

Golcar C&BC are also in that mix of teams struggling to avoid the drop and an away match at Thongsbridge A is no walk in the park for a team who are only four aggregate points away from the 2nd relegation place.

Milnsbridge A and Shepley A are both on 41 points and if either has aspirations of moving upwards they really must win this match against one of their closest rivals.

The top four teams in Division 2 are only separated by 4 points and one of those four could drop out of the running if they don't win their match against each other this week. Lindley Lib A and Marsh Lib A are both on 42 points and with the top two teams both having home matches this week they cannot afford to see that gap extended.

The leaders Holmfirth A have a home match against mid-table Brockholes B with 2nd placed Broad Oak continuing to enjoy a great first season in the 6-Man League. Strong challengers for promotion to the top division and through to the final of the Julie Fuller Trophy which is played on Thursday. They have the easier looking fixture of the top two at home to bottom of the table Thongsbridge B who collected their first away win of the season last week and would love to double that up.

Two teams that are not clear of relegation worries go up against each other as Longwood host Crosland Moor as do two more teams in even more dire trouble when Paddock I&C host Lockwood Con.

Almondbury Lib are now 16 points clear at the top of Division 3 with an away match at relegation-threatened Elland C&BC this week. Second-placed Denby Dale have a great opportunity to put daylight between themselves and Primrose Hill Lib who have won 3 of their last 4 fixtures but that falls short of the winning run of Denby Dale currently standing at five. Milnsbridge B are wedged between those two hopefuls and have to travel to play Lindley Lib B who need to pick up some winning points to to inch away from the group of four teams separated by 9 points from which the two teams destined to be relegated are likely to come from.

With Holmfirth B without a fixture this week that offers the other three relegation candidates an opportunity to open a gap. Bottom of the table Hemplow's need is greater and they will be looking at their home match against Greenhead Park who are still looking for their first away win of the season. With Elland C&BC and Lindley Lib B at home to top three opponents it may offer Hemplow a chance of clawing some of the deficit back.

Hemplow B sit 2nd in the Division 4 table having played less matches than any of the teams around them. They could be swapping places with the club's A team at the end of the season if things continue as they are. The Hemplow A team are bottom of Division 3 and 9 points from safety. This week the B team have to go to Thorpe Green to play the Greenhead Park B team whilst the leaders, Skel Windmill B have a home fixture against Clayton West B which is a meeting of the two form teams in Division 4. The Clayton West team have won their last 6 fixtures whilst the Skel team have won 8 on the trot.

The two teams at the foot of the table meet up at Shepley B where Thongsbridge C are the visitors who have the worst recent record having lost their last 8 matches.
