Bowlsnet problem

There is a problem accessing the Bowlsnet system at present which the System Developer is working on to resolve. It is affecting all leagues that use the Bowlsnet system. He is trying to make the system more secure after concerns about the number of cyber-attacks he is having to counter. This seems to have triggered the current problem.

The Developer has put an update message on the system which pops up each time a user tries to log. It is an on-screen message that says

Changes to cope with non-humans ('bot's and 'data-scraper's) are ongoing. Unfortunately, some user are experiencing 'Page Timeout' errors. These are inconvenient but not serious. I'm working on it.

The problem is affecting all leagues that use Bowlsnet and the System Developer is working on a solution. It is inconvenient but not terminal.

In addition, when you can log in, you cannot access all the Winter League pages on Bowlsnet at all at present. We have started work on preparing the system for the 2026-27 Winter League season which prevents access to the latest live pages. You can still access all the past years of Winter League results and tables. Just click on the LIVE disc in the top right-hand corner of any Winter League Bowlsnet page. From there you can select a past year's data to view at your leisure.
