Bowlsnet Disaster Update

There seems to be some progress in recovering all the records of 250 bowling leagues that rely on the Bowlsnet system to provide all the record keeping and publishing of match results, tables and player records. When I first looked at some of the Leagues on Bowlsnet at 5.30am this morning (I'm an early riser) there was no change from yesterday's situation. However that has all changed as at 6.45am this morning some leagues have been recovered. Whether this is through their own efforts or through the work of the Bowlsnet Developer is unclear at this time but I suspect the latter.

I have checked the situation for some of the local leagues and as at 6.45am this morning this is the situation. Subsequent updates added spasmodically in red.

Huddersfield 10-Man Veterans League System currently offline and no access to any records.

Huddersfield 6-Man Veterans League

6.45am Some of this season's record have been recovered but League tables are incomplete although all future fixtures for the full season seem to be available. 7.30am Future fixtures all available. Only first 3 weeks of season's results and tables available. 9.15am All results up to and including 21 April added. Future fixtures available. Tables incomplete.

Huddersfield Saturday League Future fixtures for 7 June are online but no others. No results or tables available for 2025 season. 8.00am Unchanged from 6.45am report

Heavy Woollen Afternoon League Next week's fixtures online. No 2025 results or table available. 9.15am No change from 6.45am report

Heavy Woollen Evening League 7.55am Full season fixtures online. Some results and limited tables available.

Mirfield League

Huddersfield Winter League As reported yesterday all records have been uploaded and normal service resumed.

I should stress that this seems to be a rapidly changing picture and changes are happening as I write this update. I will try and add to this posting as the picture becomes clearer but this is all a much more positive outlook than looked likely yesterday.
