Veterans League

There are three Liberal clubs in the final eight teams chasing the 2025 Bistro KO title and all three are the only surviving quarter-finalist teams to have won this competition before.

Lindley Lib were the first ever winners of this trophy when it was first contested in 1982. They subsequently won it again in 1986 and 1996. The club's B team also won this competition back in 1988. If they intend adding to that impressive association with this competition then they have to manoeuvre past Clayton West with both teams off the +6 handicap mark.

The other two Liberal Clubs are Almondbury and Golcar and they go up against each other on a neutral host green which has still to be confirmed. Golcar were the Champions in 1983, 1992 and 2002 and their club's B team also won the trophy back in 1999. Almondbury Libs have won this title twice before in 1993 and 2010.

All the other five teams are seeking their first ever Bistro title so lots to take in and lots to play for and history to be made starting with the quarter-finals on Thursday 17 July.

The missing neutral green from the quarter-finals alongside has been added and Almondbury Liv v Golcar Lib A will play at Kirkheaton C&BC.

This competition has the unique format of five pairs with the aggregate scores determining the winners.
