We have a top of Division 1 versus top of Division 4 Final in the Bistro KO with a 30-point start for the Division 4 challengers aiming to upset the form book. A 30-point handicap start is a huge swing in favour of the underdogs and equates to 6 points in each of the 5 games.

The 5-Pairs format is regularly responsible for more shock results than any other competition and we may be witnessing another one here this Friday. That handicap difference means that all the Lowerhouses 5 pairs have to win their games by no less than 21-15 to secure the title, not an easy target for any team. Whichever team does eventually come out on top will see their name engraved on the trophy for the first time as neither of the finalists have ever won this competition since it was first introduced in 1982.

Brockholes is the neutral venue and a good crowd is expected to witness this intriguing meeting of two very successful teams this year.
