Big win required for Inter-District team

The Huddersfield Inter-District team meet bottom of the table Wakefield this Friday when anything less that a big win will damage hopes of a top half of the table finish. Long gone are thoughts of a punt at the title and with fixtures against Bradford (2nd in the table) and Leeds (3rd) still to come only a big win against Wakefield will satisfy the demand to improve results.

The Home team have opted once again to play at Hemplow and the team is Andy Wike, Mick Chapman, Peter Fuller, Robert Dickinson, Ray Whitwam, Robert Spencer, Adrian Cooper, Martin Skuse. Reserves: Stephen Haigh and Graham Sigsworth.

The Away team play at Outwood WMC, WF1 2NS and the team is Steve Haigh, Tim Poulter, Dave Pollard, Derek Hewitt, Malcolm Gilbert (c), Ed Haigh, Andy Lumb and Ian Ross. Reserve Steve Mallinson.
