BDA Week of Learning

Bowling News

The Bowls Development Alliance covers all forms of bowling, including Crown Green, and does work in all related places. They produce 2 or 3 Newsletters over the course of the year and the Autumn 2025 issue has just been published. Here is an extract of that newsletter and a link to the full copy should you want to read it further.

It includes a list of 11 different online training sessions for those interested in building their club up with a range of topics of direct interest to club offocials.

Welcome to the Autumn Edition of the BDA Newsletter

As we move into the indoor season, it is a great time to reflect on the work we have been doing over the summer and look ahead to exciting projects for the months to come. Across the country our team has been working hard to support clubs, grow participation, strengthen communities and create opportunities for more people to enjoy the sport we love.

In this edition we bring you updates on our Club Development work, share plans for the Warm Welcome Spaces initiative, and highlight progress on both the Youth Sport Trust programme and the Premier 3s project. Together these initiatives show the breadth of work taking place to support clubs, players and communities, both on and off the green.

From supporting growth at club level to delivering innovative projects that bring bowls into new communities, there is plenty to celebrate and plenty still to look forward to this year.
