BCGBA Mens County Final: Yorkshire v W&W

It is the BCGBA Men's County Championship Final on Sunday 7 September with the Yorkshire team set for a rerun of the 2024 Final. That saw the Yorkshire team go down to the same opponents as they face again this year, Warwick & Worcester. A 427-445 defeat was primarily the result of the away leg which the W&W team won by a 248-188 scoreline. That 80 points difference being too big a target for the Yorkshire home team who won 239-197 but that left them still 18 points short.

It is, therefore, no surprise that the W&W officials have selected to use the same Triplex Sports & Social Club green in Birmingham once again this year. The Yorkshire home green is to be at the Meltham Sports & Social Club which is a change from the Whitkirk green selected last year.

The two teams have been announced and they are listed below. It all takes place from 2.00pm on Sunday 7 September.
