BCGBA County Championship 2027 fixtures

Bowling News

The threat to the two posts in the BCGBA that saw the Admin Officer and the Finance Officer being served redundancy notice to be replaced by a new joint post certainly made them raise their game. The fixtures for next year's County Championship have already been drawn and added to next year's calendar. It is not a difficult job, seeing as they are always arranged by following the competition guidelines and on the same dates each year but they don't normally get advertised this early. The dates are always the first Sunday in May, June, July, August and September.

Those dates have only appeared on the BCGBA Facebook page to date. Maybe the Ladies County Championship has also been finalised but I haven't found that yet. There is nothing on the BCGBA website about anything after 30 August even though the BCGBA is involved in a threat to its very existence in the present form.

Here is the draw and dates for the (Men's) Senior County Championship.
