5 Huddersfield bowlers in Yorkshire Merit

With 30 entrants Huddersfield allocation of places in the Last 32 of the Yorkshire Merit was settled at 5. The Huddersfield Qualifying competition was staged on two greens (Longwood and Hemplow) on Saturday as earlier reported on these pages.

The five Huddersfield qualifiers being Craig Gant, Jack Dyson, Josh Brown, Gary Ashwell and Louis Barker. Well done to the qualifiers who will represent a strong a team as any district will put forward. These 5 bowlers will compete in the Yorkshire Merit Final on Monday at Guiseley BC from 2.00pm.

The latest list of qualifiers from all 11 Yorkshire districts has been produced in colourful format by Dave Parkin and is included below. The draw is expected to follow later today.
