Winter League
What a difference a week makes! Last week the Springwood fixture programme went ahead after some very real winter weather overnight and during the morning. The Milnsbridge fixtures for the same day were all postponed but a delay allowed the Springwood green to recover sufficiently to allow matches to go ahead. This week we were blessed with bright sunshine and a faster green and some good bowling as well to go with it. Add to that the Christmas atmosphere fed by the appearance of Santa hats and we are well on the way to a good day out!
