Online SCores And Results system
OSCAR is the new online scores and results system which is now ready to hold its Test Day this Thursday at the Division 5 matches at Netherton Con. It is accessible to everyone with internet access to the HuddWeb website.
The service will be online from 11.00am on Thursday 19 January and bowlers and spectators around the green will have access to up-to-date information on the four matches right through the 3-hour session. In fact, anyone with internet access, wherever they are in the world will be able to follow these four matches.
This is a test day and will depend on users having a good internet connection to receive frequent updates throughout the session. There may be problems, that is what test days are about uncovering any problems and resolving them.
No need to log in, no costs are incurred other than your normal internet access costs.
A Feedback form will also be on the website which we hope visitors will use to record their experience of using OSCAR so that we can improve it or ditch it. Comments are welcome from all users whether they are at the matches on Thursday or somewhere else.
This is what the OSCAR system will look like to those accessing it on Test Day. Bowler names will be added as known on matchday. The plan is to update scores every 5 ends as a normal check-point on matchdays but this will vary depending on how often I can bully the markers into giving me the scores.
