Lowerhouses 'A' eased their relegation fears with a 6-2 catch-up win over bottom of the table Rastrick 'A' yesterday at Milnsbridge. Postponed last Wednesday this is the second of the four lost matches to be played after Thorpe Green 'A' beat Milnsbridge 'A' 6-2 on Friday. The other two lost matches will both be played on Wednesday with a 10:00am start for Lindley BC 'A' v Clayton West and New Millers v Kirkheaton Cons.
The Lowerhouses v Rastrick match started brightly with both Pairs taking three off their opponents lead to leave the scores 3-3 after 2 ends. Things settled down then and eventually Lowerhouses took the game 21-16 and with both teams claiming a Singles win the outcome was settled.
That result took Lowerhouses out of the relegation places for now but it still looks like they are in a dog-fight to avoid the second relegation spot with Milnsbridge 'A'.
