Veterans League
As part of the new Unofficial Website of the Veterans League we are pleased to begin loading up all 43 monthly newsletter created and circulated between January 2017 and July 2020. January 2017: Introduction; report on December Special General Meeting; Fantasy League News; Clean-up work began on putting 1500 BCGBA numbers against bowler registration details on Bowlsnet. (4 pages)
February 2017: Lindley BC the one new team added to 6-Man League playing at Paddock; £120 Prize Fund in the Fantasy League competition; Fixture plans (4 pages)
March 2017: £1,315 KO Prize Fund; New Treasurer in post; £5 to every Fantasy League entrant; Special awards made to Arthur Tracey and John Pix. (4 Pages)
April 2017: First Aid Training session held; new member joins Mgt Committee; Team-by-Team Preview of 2017 season; match start times moved to 1.30pm. (9 pages)
May 2017: Inter-District playing squads to meet Wakefield in opening fixtures; KO Competition updates; new points scoring system under discussion. (4 pages)
June 2017: Julie Fuller Trophy in disarray as 9 teams withdraw and 2 more expelled; 2 clubs fined for breaking League Rules; (4 pages)
