A hailstorm blighted the opening night of fixtures in the Mirfield League on Tuesday evening as these photos from two Huddersfield greens show. The first photograph was taken at Kirkheaton Cons whilst the other three were all taken by Robert Tracey at Almonbury BC where a 20-minute playing suspension was introduced. Bowling used to be a summer sport didn't it?
